Starting with Bengaluru bills

Bengaluru is the initial focus for building relevant local paid-bill evidence. Whether a specific bill receives a comparison still depends on its test details and on enough independent, recent observations from the same provider or broad local area. No city-wide price or savings figure is claimed.

Start with the bill you paid

Upload a photo or supported PDF, then review the provider, date, test names, line prices, and total before saving. OCR can misread a field, so your corrections matter. BillzWise keeps the bill in your private history even if no comparison is available.

What BillzWise can compare

The first production catalogue is intentionally narrow. Aliases map to stable test identities, while packages and unknown specialist assays are excluded instead of loosely matched.

Like is compared with like

Where available, BillzWise requires exact agreement on test versus collection charge, sample type, body part, imaging modality, and contrast use. A contrast scan is not silently compared with a non-contrast scan.

Understand the result and its limits

For a supported test, BillzWise uses relevant paid-bill observations from the same provider or broad local area. A comparison needs enough recent observations from distinct bills and independent contributors. When that minimum is missing, you see an insufficient-data result. When it is met, the median and expected range are shown with evidence and confidence; a higher price alone is not proof of wrongdoing.

BillzWise provides price evidence, not medical advice. It does not assess whether a test was clinically necessary or recommend changing a test ordered by a clinician.
